Corey Feldman has been hospitalized after suffering a mid-flight medical emergency.
The “Goonies” star was rushed to the hospital after his flight from Chicago to Los Angeles landed at LAX Monday afternoon, TMZ reports.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirmed to the outlet it responded to the airport to assist a 54-year-old male, who was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Page Six has reached out to representatives for Feldman but didn’t immediately hear back.
A source close to Feldman told TMZ the ’80s teen star was feeling sick on the flight and was checked out by a fellow passenger who is a doctor.
The outlet said they’re told doctors believe Feldman may be experiencing pancreatitis, the inflammation of the pancreas, or gallstones.
Pancreatitis is the inflammation of the pancreas, while gallstones are hardened deposits of digestive fluid (or bile) that accumulates in your gallbladder, which can cause sudden and intense pain if they become obstructive, per the Mayo Clinic.
Feldman was in Chicago to attend an anniversary celebration for the film “Stand By Me.”
He, along with co-stars Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton, attended “Stand By Me: The Film and Its Stars 40 Years Later” at The Chicago Theatre Sunday night.
Their co-star River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on Halloween 1993 at just 23 years old.
Late Sunday night, Feldman shared a carousel of photos and videos to Instagram of him driving to Chicago for the event — stopping by Michael Jackson’s childhood home in Gary, Indiana, on the way — and of the event itself.
He noted that the impromptu visit to Jackson’s house happened to closely coincide with the 10th anniversary of the King of Pop’s death, noting it was his way to “pay respects” to the late singer.
Jackson died at the age of 50 after suffering a heart attack caused by a drug overdose on June 25, 2009.
“We’re on our way to Chicago to tear it up,” Feldman, who competed on “Dancing With the Stars” last fall but was eliminated first, said in a video. “Gonna be a great night. Lots of people coming — thousands.”
He ended his video telling his followers “God bless” and spreading “peace and love.”
In the caption of his post, Feldman teased that while this was “SADLY” the final weekend of shows for the “Stand By Me” anniversary tour, he’s “BEEN HEARING RUMBLINGS THAT DUE 2 INCREDIBLE TURNOUTS THERE MAY B A CHANCE OF MORE D8S [dates] ADDED IN COMING MONTHS.”
Earlier this year, Feldman expressed his disappointment to being left out of the Rob Reiner tribute at the 2026 Academy Awards, saying being left out of the special segment “a little bit like a family reunion I wasn’t invited to.”
While he was snubbed, his “Stand By Me” co-stars O’Connell and Wheaton were in attendance to honor the director and his wife, Michele Singer-Reiner, who were both found killed in their Los Angeles home in December 2025.
“I think Jerry and Wil did what had to be done,” Feldman said of the tribute. “I don’t feel like I missed much at all.”
