The Best Dressed Stars of the Week Weren’t Afraid to Get Theatrical

It’s Fashion Month, and now is not the time to play it safe with your sartorial choices. The spring 2027 shows in Europe celebrate a spirit of experimentation and fun, and the best dressed stars of the week understood that assignment whether on the frow or red carpet. Whether they were taking in Gucci and Roberto Cavalli, or attending a splashy Hollywood movie premiere, A-listers were not afraid to get theatrical this week—slipping into designs that embraced naked dressing, voluminous silhouettes, and so much more.

Take Dakota Johnson at the Verity screening in London earlier this week, where the star chose a lace Colleen Allen gown that was totally sheer, exposing her black Fleur du Mal bra and briefs underneath. A refined take on naked dressing, if you will. In London, the Princess of Wales also embraced a sheer fabrication in her purple Jenny Packham gown, though it was much more covered up, as Catherine attended the Digger premiere and looked regal and elegant doing so.

Big, bold shapes also had a moment on the step and repeats this week. Drama was the keyword: Florence Pugh went full-ruffles in her black Rodarte gown, Cardi B slipped into a sweeping fur-trimmed Roberto Cavalli cape, and Rihanna donned a tapered and pleated Ferragamo number while attending a Céline Dion concert in Paris for the second time.
