Amanda Seyfried and ex Thomas Sadoski are focusing on keeping their two children “safe and cozy” while navigating their divorce.

The actress chatted with WWD, in an interview published Wednesday, about their co-parenting dynamic, explaining that it’s “very important” she only take on projects filming in New Jersey and New York.

The Golden Globe winner, who lives in the Empire State, said, “If it’s shooting in Spain, we’re not going to do it because right now, the kids are a specific age, and my ex-husband’s working.”

Seyfried’s goal for herself, Sadoski and their little ones — daughter Nina, 9, and son Thomas, 6 — is to “all … be within the neighborhood of each other to keep things feeling safe and cozy.”

She noted that this mindset has “definitely, definitely filter[ed out] a lot” of possible projects.

The Oscar nominee, 40, did not comment further on her recent divorce during the conversation.

Reps for Seyfried and Sadoski did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

News broke in September that the former couple had called it quits after nine years of marriage.

In a joint statement to People, the duo revealed, “We have been separated for a while, and it’s proven to be the right move for us and our family unit. We’ve got each other forever — and it’s GOOD.”

A source told the Daily Mail last month that the pair’s “dynamic shifted” before their breakup due to Sadoski, 50, working “less and less” while his wife was “the worker bee of the family.”

The “isolated” Tony nominee “really gave up a lot to be with Amanda,” the insider claimed — but clarified the exes’ “friendship [was] still there.”

The outlet reported, “They will always be close because of the children. … [They’ve] kept things very civil and have been geniuses about co-parenting.”

Seyfried became visibly emotional talking to the Hollywood Reporter last week about the “interesting” stage of life she’s navigating.

“I think everything that’s happening is meant to happen [and] everything, everyone that’s in your life is meant to be in your life,” she said.

The Emmy winner started dating Sadoski in early 2016 after previous relationships with actors Dominic Cooper, Desmond Harrington and Justin Long.

The Broadway star proposed after less than one year of dating, and he and Seyfried wed in March 2017 in Topanga, California.

Nina was born days after the nuptials, followed by Thomas in September 2020.
