Kith got Nike to reissue a fabled Air Force 1 Low colorway back in 2016 for the opening of its Miami store, and it will soon repurpose the treatment for one of its hottest sneakers.
The Kith x Nike Air Max 95 “Linen” borrows the iconic beige and pink treatment that debuted 25 years ago. Each wavy stripe is rendered in beige leather, as well as the toe-tip. Above the striping comes mesh in the same color, beneath which pink eye stay loops can be faintly made out before coming to the surface. Pink resurfaces through the tiny lateral Swoosh and heel branding, which now reads “Kith Air,” in addition to the Air units and outsole. Pops of metallic silver, which didn’t appear on the Air Force 1, also come on the mustache and the tongue keeper.
The Air Force 1 “Linen” originally released in 2001 as part of the famed “Co.Jp” series of sneakers exclusive to Japan. Collectors long held the shoe on a pedestal, and it was never made available again until Kith was able to revive for a Miami-exclusive release 15 years later. In 2024, the “Linens” became widely available for the first time.

While announcing the 2016 release, Ronnie Fieg said in an Instagram post that the AF1 “Linen” is his favorite sneaker of all time. “Back then it was about the hunt, and you either had to physically travel somewhere to get the pair you wanted, or you had to know someone who knew someone else that had them,” he added.
The Kith x Nike Air Max 95 “Linen” will release at some point this summer, likely through Kith’s channels and the Snkrs app. Thus far, skus have only leaked for grade school, pre school and toddler sizing, so it’s not yet clear if adult sizing will be available as well.
