Queen Camilla Sees Blue in Fiona Clare

Queen Camilla returned to her tried and true British couturier Fiona Clare Aldridge for her first Buckingham Palace garden party of 2026 on Wednesday in London.

The U.K.’s queen consort wore a sky blue coat dress, a piece she’s worn on occasions in the recent past. The Fiona Clare frock was designed with Queen Camilla’s signature silhouette — a midi hem with long sleeves and very slight definition at the waist.

This dress included floral embroidery around the collar, neckline, cuffs and running down the front placket of the design. Queen Camilla augmented the blue color scheme of her attire with a Philip Treacy hat.

Added elements to Queen Camilla’s look included a pair of pumps with a toe detail in a contrasting shade of black, white gloves and a shimmering moonstone and diamond brooch.

The look is a recent repeat. Queen Camilla previously wore this same Fiona Clare dress and Philip Treacy hat combination for Easter celebrations in April 2025.

Wednesday’s Buckingham Palace garden party comes following King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s tour of the U.S., during which they visited Virginia, New York City and Washington, D.C., for a state dinner to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America’s independence.

During her time in the U.S., the queen consort regularly wore pieces by Fiona Clare Aldridge, including a fuchsia gown she wore to the state dinner at the White House. Her daytime attire included shades of blue and she wore historic brooches and jewelry symbolizing the unique relationship between the U.S. and U.K.
