After a 20-year wait, “The Devil Wears Prada 2” is now in theaters. The sequel took its stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and more all around the world for the promotional tour, and their style and shoe choices for their appearances took center stage.
The films’ posters for both the 2006 and the second film feature a giant red shoe, and the stars paid homage to that by slipping into a variety of designer heels during the press tour. Streep stepped out in Prada and Aldo heels, Hathaway had a bright Jimmy Choo moment, while Blunt showed off a pair of Valentino Rockstud sandals. The devil actually wore Prada at the film’s European premiere inside Leicester Square on April 22 in London. She opted for the Prada Raso silk satin stiletto pumps in a bright red, which feature a modern pump silhouette.
The style features bold, elongated lines that run from the pointy upper to the tapered heel. The pumps were designed with a low-cut vamp. The shoes are available on resale sites in red, but Prada is currently offering them in blue, burgundy and brown for $1,270.

Emily Blunt wore a look from the Michael Kors fall 2026 collection, consisting of a black turtleneck bodysuit paired with a silk-and-wool mikado skirt featuring intricate hand-embroidered petals. She paired the look with the Valentino Rockstud kidskin sandals in red with gold embellishments. The shoes retail for $1,190 and feature four straps across the vamp and a four-inch heel.

For an event at Casa Azul in Mexico City in March, Streep wore the brand’s Amilie slingback high heel in medium red. The synthetic patent slingback, which retails for $110, featured a long, pointed toe. The shoes are also designed with a high-cut outer side and a more open inner side that gave the silhouette a d’orsay-like shape through the arch. The shoes are held in place by a narrow strap that wrapped the back of the heel, while a slim stiletto and steep pitch kept the profile sharp.
