Jennifer Lopez Leans Into the Hot Mule Trend for Netflix’s ‘The Roast of Kevin Hart’

Jennifer Lopez ended her Mother’s Day celebration on Sunday by attending the “Netflix Is a Joke Festival Presents: The Roast of Kevin Hart” at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif. She walked down the carpet in a red dress that hugged her frame, paired with pointed mule sandals from a popular Los Angeles-based brand.

The “Waiting for Tonight” singer arrived wearing the Femme LA Gianni mules. The sandals are a slip-on design that features a stiletto heel measuring 120mm, which is approximately 4.7 inches. The heels are defined by a sharply pointed toe with an elongated silhouette. They are held in place by a wide-toe strap with a mesh panel that delivers a sheer see-through effect on the foot, creating a barely-there appearance.

The neutral beige heels feature suede trimming and soles. They are available on luxury resale websites currently, and the Femme LA site features the Gianni mules style in patent leather in red, pink and nude for $199. The heels are a perfect fit for the current hot minimalist mule shoe trend. Celebrities have been reaching for styles from Femme LA, Paris Texas, Saint Laurent, Gianvito Rossi and more.

She paired them with a maxidress from Colombian brand Maygel Coronel Vestalia in a rich merlot color. The Vestalia long dress features an asymmetric halter neckline with a deep-U-shaped finish. One side extends into the neck tie, while the other is accented with a sculptural 3D floral detail and a delicate strap to the neck, which Lopez’s long, golden brown hair concealed on the carpet.

The bodysuit offers a flawless second-skin fit and flows into a deep V that continues into a dramatic, fully ruched column skirt, creating a striking and elongated silhouette. An internal bodysuit clasp is included for enhanced comfort and support.

The “Marry Me” star paired the dress with a Chanel In the Loop Flap Bag in red quilted lambskin leather with gold-tone hardware, which she matched with gold jewelry, including a gold cuff bracelet and gold and brown aviator sunglasses.

Hart’s roast was a reunion of Hollywood’s biggest names in comedy. The event was hosted by Shane Gillis and featured roasters including Chelsea Handler, Pete Davidson, Jeff Ross, Tony Hinchcliffe, NBA star Draymond Green and Dwayne Johnson. The show aired live on Sunday, but it’s available to watch now on the streaming service.
