The return of Michael Jordan’s luxe Air Jordan Bin 23 line kicked off in February with the Air Jordan 6 and now, a first look at the next sneaker in the collection has surfaced.
For the first time ever, the Air Jordan 3 will receive the premium Bin 23 treatment in a new Team Red/Metallic Gold/Burgundy Crush/Coconut Milk/Smokey Mauve/Gym Red colorway. Nike’s official e-commerce images reveal that the early mock-up renderings of the colorway were nearly accurate with a mix of red and burgundy in various materials across the sneaker’s upper.
The premium pair combines leather, nubuck and suede with metallic gold hardware and vintage-esque pre-yellowed midsoles. The elevated aesthetic is heightened through leather liners, waxed shoelaces and a suede treatment on the Nike Air-branded heel tab, which is typically a TPU material.
Like all Jordan Brand Bin 23 styles, the Air Jordan 3 is limited to just 2,300 pairs and features a wax-inspired stamp on the tongue and comes housed in special packaging. The Bin 23 Air Jordan 3 comes in a box printed with a woodgrain graphic alongside dust bags and wooden shoe trees.

Jordan’s Bin 23 collection was first introduced in 2010 and included the Air Jordan 2, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 13. After 16 years, the line was reintroduced in February with the aforementioned Air Jordan 6.
After the Air Jordan 3 arrives at retail, two more Bin 23 styles are expected to be released throughout the year. An Air Jordan 8 Bin 23 in Legion Pine/Legion Pine/Red is set to be released in July followed by a Wild West-inspired Air Jordan 4 Bin 23 with a Fauna Brown/Baroque Brown/Muslin/Gym Red colorway to cap off the year in December.
The Air Jordan 3 OG Bin 23 will be released on June 9 exclusively in men’s sizing from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers globally. The sneaker’s style code is IO7744-600 and it will retail for $355.
