The 2026 WNBA season began on Friday. The 30th season kicked off with a three-game slate that included the first game between the Seattle Storm vs. Golden State Valkyries, as well as the debut of the Toronto Tempo against the Washington Mystics. The season will consist of a 44-game schedule for the teams that are set to run through Sept. 24.
This weekend featured performances on the court by Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart and Azzi Fudd, who was the first overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft in April. Take a look at the sneakers they wore on the court during the first weekend of the 2026 season.
