It was the night before the Met Gala — which meant, naturally, another night of pre-Met Gala parties.
UTA returned to Nubeluz by José Andrés at The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad on Sunday night to host its fourth annual pre-Met soirée, an opportunity for its roster of actors, musicians, content creators, athletes and more to mix and mingle before the main event.
Lisa Rinna and Charli D’Amelio were among the evening’s earliest arrivals. Tommy Dorfman set her Chanel bag atop the DJ booth to pose for photos in front of the New York skyline, visible from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

”This party started as a way to get all of our clients together that are going to Met, and bring out the brands that support them and all the stylists that work so hard to put this entire production together. It’s a nice way to celebrate everyone going into the big day,” said UTA’s Dan Constable, who held court throughout the night along with head of UTA U.K. Darnell Strom. “Everybody in their different genres is so keen to be involved in the fashion space more than ever, so it’s fun to bring everybody together.”

At that moment, Constable stepped away to greet Gabrielle Union Wade and Dwyane Wade, who had arrived just in time to catch the sunset over the Hudson River from the venue’s 50th floor terrace. One guest held up their Tanqueray martini — an event sponsor, along with Google Pixel — in a toast to the quickly vanishing sunlight.
Inside, the room was hitting peak party stride. Guests included stylists Jason Bolden and Jason Rembert, Law Roach, country singer Megan Moroney, Avantika, David Iacono, Karlie Kloss and Daisy Edgar-Jones, who was deep in conversation by the bar. Chase Sui Wonders, Romeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull were among the group huddled by the large banquette tables in one corner of the room. Nicholas Hoult was slowly making his way in that direction, as new arrivals like Jon Batiste and Janelle Monáe continued to make their way inside.
Few, it seemed, were headed toward the exit. With the Met Gala Monday still hours away, why rush?
