- Moncler Group, owner of Moncler and Stone Island, reported flat year-on-year revenue growth at €605.5 million for the third quarter of 2026.
- In the first nine months of the year, group revenues rose 6% to €1.9 billion.
- Moncler brand revenues fell 1% to €499.6 million in Q3, impacted by a slowdown in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) channel (down 2%) and upheld by the brand’s wholesale channel (up 2%).
- Stone Island revenues were up 5% year-on-year to €105.9 million, thanks to growth in both DTC and wholesale.
The breakdown
Moncler Group attributed the quarter’s flat growth largely to the dip in its namesake brand’s revenues, as well as the wider industry’s complex operating environment. Analysts commended the group’s performance in a “tricky quarter”.
By region, Asia was the strongest for the Moncler brand, up 5% year-on-year in the third quarter to €229.8 million. All countries within the region registered positive growth, with Japan and Korea outperforming. Analysts noted that the brand was bucking trends among Chinese consumers, where most luxury brands have been faltering this quarter.
Luciano Santel, group chief corporate and supply officer, noted that China remains Moncler’s strongest customer base — whether shopping at home or abroad. Though the region was softer in Q3 than Q2 for the brand, he highlighted that Golden Week (which fell in the first week of Q4) did better than the year prior. “One week out of 13 weeks in the quarter is meaningless for the business, but it’s very important for us because it shows that the brand is strong in China,” Santel told investors.
