If you’re anything like our editors, you’re delighted by the resurgence of a nostalgic trend – especially if it’s one that brings back joyful memories (see: our inaugural Feel-Good List). And when it comes to UGG, a brand that has managed to stay relevant in fashion for more than 25 years, you can sign us up for a styling session. After all, every single design offered is irresistibly comfortable, whether you opt for clogs, slippers, the classic boot, or a new, street-style forward silhouette like the Lowmel Sneaker. Not to mention, UGG has already cemented its status as celebrity-approved for 2026, with the likes of Charli XCX, Selena Gomez, Doechii, and more stars taking recent variations for a spin.
The brand tells Popsugar that its current bestsellers include the Adirondack Boot XXV ($250) for its après-ski vibes; the ankle-skimming Classic Micro Boot ($140), which I personally own; and the Classic Tall II Boot ($220), which was recently spotted on Bella Hadid and has sparked conversation on TikTok.
Our editors decided to choose pairs to reflect their personal style and build feel-good looks that are relevant to today’s trend cycle, and, most importantly, solid reminders that something “old” can always be appreciated as new again.
Lena Felton’s all-black, relaxed ‘fit: UGG Tazz II Slipper at $145
Jessica Andrews’s swap for heels: UGG Classic Short II Boot at $190

“If I had to picture my perfect middle school outfit with UGGs, it would include a textured baby tee with a ruffle trim, the beloved Solow fold-over pants of yesteryear, and a North Face fleece. Plus braces. Do those count as an accessory? I used to love dragging my feet down the hallways — perhaps purposefully, to draw attention to my shoes — in the Classic Short Boot (I absolutely owned the Fugg version of them in baby blue, too).
Now, I think of the brand very differently — it’s less of a status symbol and more of a quality footwear company that’s withstood the test of time. But all it takes is one glimpse of the logo at the back of the heel to spark nostalgia, and that somehow makes me more excited to construct an outfit. The UGG Moxy Chelsea Boots ($170) have a utilitarian feel, so I love teaming them with boxy pieces like my Barbour, Levi’s barrel jeans, Asos denim jacket, and Stand Oil Mushy bag. The result is an effortlessly rugged-chic look that I can play up with personal touches, like my Marc Jacobs oval sunglasses. It’s a very different vibe nowadays, but I’ve realized one thing hasn’t changed: my UGGs still feel like the security blanket of the whole outfit.” — Sarah Wasilak, shopping director
