Gypsy Rose Blanchard claims Ken Urker was concerned about the social media scrutiny coming from his sister Autumn during their final phone call.
Autumn had allegedly “threatened to intensify her public attacks against him,” Blanchard said in an Instagram Reel Tuesday, detailing her and Ken’s last conversation.
“My last phone conversation with Ken, I was getting an apartment, and he was worried about me. He was worried about people harassing me and so he was like, ‘Be careful,’” she recalled.
At the time, Ken told Blanchard that a prison call he made to her years ago had resurfaced, during which he had complained about his sister.
“He was like, ‘[Autumn] is blowing [my phone] up, threatening me, saying she’s going to go even harder on me online with talking s–t and the hate.’”
Blanchard noted that Autumn “never approved” of her and Ken’s relationship and would speak about her dismay regarding the pairing on social media.
“Just because someone is family does not mean they are privy to every detail of a person’s life. Autumn wasn’t close with Ken and Ken wasn’t close with Autumn,” the “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up” star claimed of the siblings.
“For the last six months she’s been giving us nothing but hell. I tried to keep quiet. I tried multiple times to make peace with her and it was not working out.”
Blanchard insisted that Autumn didn’t have “any sort of insight or information as to [their] relationship” and has been “spewing all these lies and bulls–t.”
She continued, “A child lost their father, I lost a partner, a mother lost her son and it’s disgusting to see a family member take this as an opportunity to cash in.”
Blanchard also claimed that since Urker’s passing, she has been supporting his family without Autumn’s involvement.
Page Six has reached out to Autumn for comment.
Blanchard has repeatedly claimed that Ken — whom she shared 1-year-old daughter Aurora with — had been severely cyberbullied.
To that end, she launched an online petition called Kenan’s Law in Ken’s honor, with the goal of “changing the way social-media platforms handle repeated reports of harassment.”
She also believes Ken died of an overdose, though an official cause of death has yet to be released.
Autumn, however, blames Blanchard for the slew of hate her brother received and does not take responsibility for it.
Last week, she told the Daily Mail that Ken “had to sleep with a gun every night” to protect himself while he was dealing with intense public scrutiny he faced for his relationship with Blanchard.
Ken, who passed away on his 34th birthday on Oct. 1, allegedly confessed that he carried a weapon because he was getting “death threats” and “doxxed.”
Additionally, Autumn alleged that she spoke to Ken on the phone the night before his death, and he made plans to check in with loved ones the next day.
“I don’t think he would ever do this to Aurora or my mother, and the family doesn’t think he did this on purpose, either,” she shared.
Page Six exclusively reported that Blanchard will be attending Ken’s funeral in Texas, despite her tension with Autumn.
We also reported that Blanchard and Ken broke up one month before the latter’s death because he was struggling with mental health problems.
However, we heard the pair were peacefully co-parenting their daughter Aurora, and were in constant communication about matters regarding their child.
