SUMMER IDYL: Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, continues to make further inroads into the fashion world, landing her first campaign for Chloé.
The British model was captured by photographer David Sims amid an imaginary shoreline where shells grow to “Birth of Venus” proportions and jut out of the sand.
The campaign is meant to evoke “barefoot reveries suspended in an endless summer afternoon,” according to the French house.
Martin wears looks from Chloé à la Plage, a high summer capsule collection that creative director Chemena Kamali introduced last year, destined for summer boutiques in popular resort destinations, in addition to Chloé stores and online.

Claudia Schiffer fronted the inaugural Chloé à la Plage campaign last year. The second collection lands in stores Tuesday.
“This year, Chloé à la Plage is an ode to a surreal summer fantasy,” according to Kamali. “It’s about that dreamlike state and the poetry of summer. Apple, with her radiance and timeless beauty, draws us into this feeling in the most natural way.”
Beachwear collections and summer resort boutiques have been a recent focus for many European fashion houses as they capitalize on booming tourism in the post-pandemic period.
Martin is pictured wearing airy dresses, broderie anglaise blouses and a swimsuit bearing a print of a parrot propped on pink hibiscus flowers. Raffia handbags and jelly mules round out the offering.
The college student and sometime singer and actress, now 21, made her society debut at the Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris in 2024. She has since appeared in a number of fashion campaigns, including ones for Self-Portrait and GapStudio, the latter with her famous mother.
