Al Calderón who joined the second season as Nurse Nico Silva, posted on social media his gratitude for the opportunity.
“Thank you, Brilliant minds,” he posted on Instagram. “What a life-changing experience. Met forever friends. Learned from the absolute best. Was reminded that my voice mattered. Learned that it’s okay to believe in yourself. Felt like I was part of something.”
Calderon continued, “I’ve been at this a long time and this show gave me hope for the future of my career. I owe it to these incredible individuals. Our crew. Our writers. Our editors. The whole shebang. I love you all endlessly.”

Brian Altemus, who played Dr. Charlie Porter in both seasons of the series, also took to Instagram to thank “daddy” NBC and Warner Bros., adding, “Thanks for the ride.”
“I’m really going to miss getting to work with these people. Not just the ones you see on screen, but the hundreds of other people that worked on this production,” Altemus posted.
Altemus also hinted at a “redemption arc” for his character in the final six episodes, which start airing on May 27.
“For those of you I shared moments with personally during the course of this show, it was a pleasure,” Altemus continued on Instagram. “Now, I’m going to absolutely flood my story of memories from Brilliant Minds with all the amazing people I got to spend time with.”
Tamberla Perry, who played Dr. Carol Pierce, posted a video on Instagram where she said, “Thank you to all the people who rocked with us for the past 33 episodes. The support means the world.”
“It’s a very bittersweet, more better than sweet, moment,” she added. “But sweet because I know that I was acutely aware of the good thing that I had. I was very cognisant of squeezing every bit of life out of that show.”
Director DeMane Davis shared a post on Instagram, saying, “This was my family for two seasons. What a privilege. The pure joy of working with these people is something I will and already carry with me daily. That’s what needs to be remembered.”
